I was looking for a new job for a few months before the pandemic. Before quarantine, I was getting weekly interviews and replies from employers. Now I only get rejections – or simply no response. Now with most jobs looking for hire on remote workers, the competition has increased substantially. The economic uncertainty is unjustifiable at this point. Our leaders and "experts" need to quit playing into this continual game of fear. My mental health, and everyone around me, are blatantly impacted by these draconian measures. This isn’t freedom, this is creating a huge ripple effect, now let’s follow the science & data – because this has to stop. For the greater good.
