Doctor of Media Studies, Dr Noakes currently researches scientific dissidents' use of digital voice in pursuit of free speech and how orthodox critics respond with online academic bullying. Earlier research tackled original online content creation and how authors’ digital voices reflect structural enablers and constraints.
